Twenty years ago Marabeth moved from Arkansas to Nashville to embark on a musical career. Little did she know, ten years later, she would introduce herself back to her childhood love of painting and writing. As a result, her art has become a space of great autonomy and clarity, as well as pleasure in her life. "Art is my doorway into the essential, yet unknown aspect of existence and my paintings are many times not what I intended, but a complete and pleasant surprise to me when I step back and realize that it is 'as it should be', and in much the same way I view life..."-Marabeth
