As we say in the business, you either got it or you don’t. And luckily for us, those who don’t generally hire us to help them get it! Interior design is a craft. Schooling provides the tools, but doesn’t teach you how to facilitate true talent. Some of the most sucessful and talented designers in the business are the leaset decorated designers when it comes to schooling. I for one did get the schooling. I am a bit of a control freak and find it necessary to know everything about my craft to fully understand it. And lucky for all you I have “it”. Here I will offer quick tips and how-to’s to help you get it, and offer up great advice to help make some of the toughest decisions easier.
